Between a new community, ease of use changes, stronger security features, and six releases, this year at UKG was chock-full of exciting changes and enhancements. A few weeks ago, we put out a community post and asked you to vote on your favorite UKG Ready® feature enhancements from 2023. You did not disappoint! Read on and discover what feature enhancements sleighed 2023.
Login As
Without a doubt, topping every feature we’ve released this year, Login As was the clear number one enhancement overall. Seriously, it received 88% of the votes for favorite enhancement of the year. After being one of the most-requested ideas for years, the team was able to release the highly anticipated feature in our April release. As you probably know by now, the Login As feature gives system administrators the ability to log into the system as one of their employees. The feature also helps admins troubleshoot employee issues with ease. Check out the Login As blog for more information.
Benefits Refresh
It’s no surprise that the benefits refresh ranked high when it came to your favorite features from the year. We revamped our benefits enrollment experience in August and this refresh came at the perfect time for organizations with fall open enrollment periods. Many of you have said the updated experience helped make your open enrollment run smoothly. Some of the exciting changes from this refresh were:
- A new You and Your Family Page
- New benefit cards
- New notifications around incomplete enrollment

Payroll Comparison Report
The Payroll Comparison report held its own when it came time to vote on favorite features. Aimed at streamlining your payroll process the Payroll Comparison report was introduced in our June release and further enhancements have continued throughout the rest of the year. This report provides a look at what changes have been made to payroll and what differences there might be from week to week. Admins can quickly identify any discrepancies before submitting payroll. Hubs
Perhaps one of our most innovative enhancements of the year has been the introduction of hubs. Hubs are one-stop shops that offer simplified navigation for employees, managers, and admins. Our hubs help save time and streamline your day-to-day tasks by providing a centralized place to house everything you could possibly need around a specific topic. No more navigating all around the solution to complete an important task with the four hubs we’ve released over the course of the year:
- Report Hub
- Compliance Hub
- Forms Hub
- Employee Home (Mobile Only)

Career Portal Refresh
Our final enhancement to break the top five is the Career Portal Refresh. Introduced in October, this refresh gives you the ability to personalize and brand the Career Portal so that it fits your organization’s overall theme.
