ESG Philanthropy and Volunteering Quote

“UKG’s 'whatever it takes, wherever we’re needed’ dedication extends far beyond financial support. Their team is heart deep and always ready to respond for our kids! They have painted houses, landscaped the property, [and] provided technology, toys, and time. They intentionally seek out ways to take care of this community, and we are so grateful for the way they love on our kids.”

Supporting Our Communities in Times of Crisis

Supporting Our Communities in Times of Crisis

UKG responds during times of crisis to provide financial and volunteer support to people in need throughout our local, national, and global communities. Using our own UKG Pro Giving™ solution, U Krewers answer the call and donate funds through uncapped 100% donation-matching campaigns and help deliver much-needed supplies to people in impacted areas. Over the past year, UKG has provided support to those impacted during natural disasters such as: Hurricane Fiona and Ian, floods in Australia, Kentucky and Pakistan, and the Wildfires in Colorado. We also helped those affected by the tragic shootings in Buffalo, New York, Highland Park, Illinois, Uvalde, Texas, and at the Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Arizona, and supported those displaced and impacted by the war in Ukraine.

Serving Our Communities Through Volunteering

Global Volunteerism

Giving of ourselves to help others is ingrained in our culture. Throughout the year, U Krewers volunteer around the world, serving their communities — from helping food banks and running in charitable 5Ks to visiting grade schools and clothing the homeless. To further support these efforts, UKG provides all employees two paid days off each year for volunteering at organizations of their choosing, so they can focus on giving to the causes closest to their hearts, or participate in organized service events. Examples from 2022 include providing support to ANK India, Babbara Women’s Centre, German Children’s Cancer Foundation, Singapore Cancer Walk, and Whoolies, Wheels & Walk.

Global Pay It Forward Day

To celebrate Global Pay It Forward Day, a worldwide celebration of kindness that takes place annually on April 28, U Krewers from around the world participated in volunteer events or hosted donation drives to support organizations in their communities. In the U.S., U Krewers worked on projects with Rebuilding Together and Habitat for Humanity to paint and landscape two homes in Dania Beach, Florida. In our APAC region, more than 80 kilograms of non-perishable food items were donated by U Krewers to local food banks. In our EMEA region, U Krewers made both in-person food donations and online contributions to local food banks to support their communities.

Supporting Our Employees and Their Families

UKG established the PeopleInspired Giving Foundation, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing financial assistance to UKG employees physically, economically, emotionally, or otherwise adversely impacted by tragedy — including and beyond the pandemic — such as a spouse losing their job or a parent becoming seriously ill. To date, we have delivered hundreds of thousands of dollars in relief to hundreds of UKG employees and their families.
